Modern Express News On October 25, a Marshall Islands LNG (liquefied natural gas) carrier, "ALDAFNA", was slowly berthed in Jiangsu Rudong Yangkou Port under the careful protection of Nantong Maritime Department. So far, Yangkou Port will safely dock 64 LNG carriers in 2022, with LNG unloading volume exceeding 5.6 million tons, ranking first among the 24 LNG terminals put into operation in mainland China.

At present, the late autumn season has entered, and the Yangtze River Delta region is about to usher in a peak gas consumption. As the LNG distribution center along the east coast of China, Jiangsu LNG Terminal began to prepare for the supply guarantee in winter. In order to ensure the safety of LNG ships entering and leaving the port, Nantong Rudong Sea Affairs Office takes the initiative to provide services, urge enterprises such as docks and shipping agents to implement the main responsibility of safety, prioritize plans, and help enterprises seize time, catch up with progress and promote development; VTS, AIS, CCTV and other information systems shall be comprehensively used to strengthen monitoring, warn and clean up the ships in the way of navigation in advance, and effectively ensure the safety of LNG ships entering and leaving the port and in the port.

It is understood that the ship "Ardavna" has a total length of 345.33 meters and a ship width of 53.8 meters. It is loaded with 256000 m3 and 112000 tons of LNG, which can meet the daily gas consumption of 300 million households.
